Nuremberg, February 26, 2020 – NÜRNBERGER Versicherung is driving forward the use of digital technologies in a targeted manner in order to increase customer and agent benefits, service quality and efficiency. As part of the IT modernization, the host-based policy system for all private and commercial non-life policies is also being replaced. Faktor-IPM by Faktor Zehn GmbH was chosen as the new policy system.
The decisive factors for this decision were the high degree of technical maturity of the system, the modern architecture, the good integration capability into the system landscape and the competence of the project partner.
The insurance group and Faktor Zehn GmbH launched the project in January 2020 together with the IT and business consultancy ConVista Consulting AG. Expected duration: four years.
The aim of the overall project is to migrate the contracts to the modern architecture and automate many essential business processes. At the same time, a centralized and efficient product management system will be established in order to be able to launch customized and innovative tariffs via all channels in the shortest possible time. Faktor-IPM provides the integral component for this – Faktor-IPS® open-source product system, which is unique in the insurance industry.
