DEVK launches building insurance for private and commercial customers based on Faktor Zehn Software
DEVK successfully migrates building insurance to Faktor-IPM DEVK has implemented the Faktor-IPM policy management system for its private and commercial building insurance lines. With over 635,000 contracts migrated, this go-live marks a major milestone in replacing legacy systems.
Cologne, 12. December 2025 DEVK Versicherungen has successfully implemented the Faktor-IPM policy management system from Faktor Zehn for its private and commercial building insurance lines. For DEVK, this is another milestone in the realization of its host replacement project.
Following the go-live, the pilot phase for residential buildings for private customers began. Users were gradually transferred to the new system. Just one week after the start, more than 500 new policies were recorded in Faktor-IPM, demonstrating the rapid acceptance and performance of the system.
The implementation phase began in the fourth quarter of 2024. Migration was completed at the beginning of December 2025: a total of around 625,000 residential building contracts in the private sector and 11,500 commercial building contracts were successfully transferred to Faktor-IPM.

This brings us very close to replacing the old system in the private sector, and we hereby have now taken the first step for the commercial sector. In spring 2026, the private building insurance line will be connected to the offer and quotation process. The next milestone is the successful implementation of the legal protection line and other commercial lines.
