To be in a position to implement new (digital) business models quickly and efficiently, insurers usually have to modernize their IT systems. Their administrative systems are often still based on mainframe computers and need to be replaced by a lean, dynamic, object and service-oriented architecture.
Our policy system is unique in the German market: Faktor-IPM is a complete system with reference products and modern business process support. It is complemented by our other solutions: Faktor-ICS (claims system) and Faktor-IOS (omni-channel offer system).
From April 2018 onwards Faktor-IPM includes components for the electronic insurance confirmation (eVB) and the insurer change certificate (VWB) - which are integrated as part of the standard system. The modules implement procedures specified by the German Insurance Association (GDV). They offer service interfaces and expansion points that can be used to interface easily with existing policy systems.
