Cologne, 01/20/.2024 – As part of its digitalisation strategy, AXA Versicherung AG is modernising its system landscape in the industrial sector and introducing a new underwriting platform.

The goal of this project is to create the necessary conditions for a new, modern and, above all, seamless IT system landscape for industrial business.

The goal is to ensure a fully digitally supported underwriting workflow end-to-end for all industry lines. To this end, a seamless IT system landscape with a central data model and interfaces to brokers is to be introduced. After an intensive evaluation process, AXA chose the software from Faktor Zehn. The determining factor was the ability to map the highly individual industrial business flexibly and product-driven in a standard software.

As part of the project, the Faktor Zehn software modules for product management, policy management, quotation management and document management will be integrated into the AXA system landscape.

The lines of business implemented are non-life, technical insurance, liability, transport and aircraft.

Kai Hasselberg, Head of Digitalisation Industrial Customer Business at AXA:

‘We want to make our already very successful industrial business future-proof in the long term and therefore the end-to-end digitalisation of our processes is a very essential component of this. Our customers and sales partners will benefit from this in various ways, be it through faster and more transparent processing of their requests, but also through even more data-based and therefore even more risk-orientated pricing.’

Peter Stracke, Managing Partner of Faktor Zehn:

‘The collaboration with AXA on the modernisation of its system landscape in the area of industrial insurance is a significant milestone for us. We are delighted to be able to make a key contribution to digitalising and improving the efficiency of this complex business area with our core insurance software.’
