Versicherungskammer relies on Faktor Zehn software for commercial business
The Versicherungskammer Group and Faktor Zehn GmbH are expanding their long-standing partnership for the renewal of the non-life core insurance software to include the industry business.
Munich, 17.03.2025 – The Versicherungskammer Group and Faktor Zehn GmbH are expanding their long-standing partnership for the renewal of the non-life core insurance software to include the industry business.
For the areas of private business such as industry, large commercial and municipal in the non-standardised product groups, the underwriting and policy management processes will be mapped on the basis of the Faktor Zehn Industry Solution and integrated into the existing Versicherungskammer value chain. Particular attention is paid to the requirements of the industrial and municipal business, such as the flexible design of products, the management of broker wordings, co-insurance and policy processes in the modification business as well as the efficient management of large quantities of insured objects.
As Dr Peter Quell, the main person responsible for industrial business, says, we expect this IT solution to open up new opportunities to further strengthen growth and leverage selection advantages.
Faktor Zehn was chosen because of the software’s modern, future-proof architecture, which enables rapid customisation and an efficient market launch of new products. The software also supports the special requirements of the customised business with user-friendly interfaces and a high level of process automation.

The solid architecture and the good cooperation with FaktorZehn over the last few years have led us to use the FaktorZehn Industry Solution as an IT platform for our Non-Life Individual business as well.
The project officially started with the signing of the contracts on 27 November 2024 and is a further step in the integrated business and IT transformation of the Versicherungskammer.
