WWK put the new claims system by Faktor Zehn into productive use after only 11 months

Munich, 02.06.2021. WWK Allgemeine Versicherung AG has reached another milestone in the replacement of its mainframe and the modernization of its IT application landscape. As of today, claims processing in the household line of business is profiting from the newly introduced claims system Faktor-ICS by Faktor Zehn GmbH.

The introduction of this software component represents a further modernization step of the IT application landscape in the non-life segment.

As recently mid-2020, WWK had decided to use the Faktor Zehn software for the renewal of the IT platform for household, glass and building in the private and liability business, property, and accident in the corporate customer business. The introduction of the new policy and claims system, including the migration of all contracts is to be completed by the end of 2022.

”As WWK, we decided in 2019 to completely replace the mainframe within four years and at the same time to make the IT application landscape fit for the future. One component for achieving this ambitious goal is the use of the components from from Faktor Zehn in the non-life segment. A very important criterion for our decision was to receive the software and the associated service from a single source and from experienced specialists who speak our (insurance) language and can thus quickly understand our problems and challenges.’
