Debeka relies on new quotation platform for corporate pension plans

Koblenz, May 23, 2023 – Debeka is on course to transform its IT landscape and, as part of the digitization of sales, decided as early as 2022 to implement the new Faktor Zehn cross-divisional and omni-channel offer and quotation system. The first line of business to go into productive use is the new system for corporate pension plans.
With the new system, Debeka will lift its sales activities onto a technologically future-proof platform.

The aim is to achieve the greatest possible efficiency and automated processing through new digitized processes in order to be able to respond quickly to inquiries and to constantly changing market requirements and cus-tomer wishes. In addition to the realization of a service-oriented and modern architecture, the omnichannel capability was a deci-sive factor in the decision in favor of the system. This means that all sales channels can be connected to one platform, and Debeka is able to meet today’s hybrid customer behavior.

With Faktor-IOS (Insurance Offer System), quotation and offer functions can be mapped cross-divisional and cross-channel on different platforms. A unique feature of Faktor-IOS is its own product system Faktor-IPS®. This helps insurers to adapt products to different sales channels on the basis of existing products. Customers and intermediaries can thus be offered customized product and service modules. The centralized quotation services (microservice architecture) also ensure a holistic quotation process across all sales channels. In addition, Faktor-IOS supports sales processes for up-selling and cross-selling.
