Practice Group Core Insurance-Meeting on 12.11.2020

Once again this year, our Core Insurance Practice Group met for a day to exchange ideas on current topics. During the all-day, digital meeting, an overview of the news in sales, projects, product development, human resources and marketing was given.

Practice Group Meeting celebrates digital premiere

As was the case with the Faktor-IPS User Group, the Practice Group Meeting was also organized for the first time as a purely online event via WebEx. Here, the first positive experiences from the User Group could already be incorporated, which made the digital organization much easier.

Various working groups
In the second part of the event, small expert groups worked on and presented technical topics such as "Specialist tests and test automation for standard software" or "The documentation of Factor Ten products for business analysts". Another working group also dealt with the topic "Remote working because of Corona". After almost two hours of work, the results were then presented and discussed in a joint circle.

Concluding the day in the play arena - or at the bar
The day was rounded off by a joint digital evening event. For this purpose, the participants got together virtually - for example, to enjoy a tasty video Kölsch at the "bar" or to play board games together in the virtual game arena.

Conclusion on the digital Practice Group Core Insurance meeting

Despite first experiences in the field of digital events, the organization of the Practice Group was also a bit of a challenge. Nevertheless, we were able to put together a good event. Of course, we are now looking forward to future Practice Group meetings, which we hope will again take place in presence.
